About Govt. Polytechnic College, Ramban
The Govt. Polytechnic Ramban was established in the year 2012, under Ministry of Human Resource development Submission Polytechnic Scheme with two branches Electrical Engineering & Electronics & communication Engineering. The Institute is affiliated to the Jammu & Kashmir State Board of Technical Education (JKSBOTE).All its courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) with a fixed intake capacity for each department. The institution is presently functional at make shift place at old PWD Office Kahu Bagh Ramban. The Institution has its own land at Chanderkote Ramban, which is about 62.5 kanals.The administration building for govt. polytechnic Ramban is being constructed by housing board, which is being funding by the PWD Department. The estimated cost of the Govt. Polytechnic Ramban building is about 13 crores.
